What’s Next for the Immortal Universe?

While fans await more news forMayfair Witches, which is expected to explore Salem, Massachusetts and how it interweaves with the story of Daddario’s Rowan Fielding, fans got two important looks ahead at the Immortal Universe atSan Diego Comic Con. The Immortal Universe is expanding, addingTalamasca: The Secret Societyto its lineup of shows. The series will “focus on the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe.” Fans familiar with the Immortal Universe may already recognize the name Talamasca, and now there will be an entire series dedicated to the secret society.

The series will follow Guy Anatole (Nicholas Denton) as he’s recruited into the Talamasca, the secret society that’s always watching, always monitoring the world of the supernatural, including vampires, witches, and demons. In the trailer dropped at San Diego Comic Con,Elizabeth McGovern’s Helen walks Guy through why they wanted to recruit him, reveals they know he’s still hiding an untapped ability, and stresses the importance of staying out of sight. As the trailer progresses,Guy entangles with someone who says that the Talamasca may not be who they say they are(a secret society with secrets? Shocking). Guy must now choose what’s more important: the mission he believed he was brought in for, or bolting before things get too dangerous with forces he couldn’t even begin to imagine being at play.
