Her talent is being demanded again for yet another thriller, this time by a guru of the supernatural genre,M. Night Shyamalan. The yet-untitled project is a supernatural romantic thriller, an original film that Shyamalan is writing, based on the same original romantic story that bestselling authorNicholas Sparksis also currently writing a book on. Dynevor will star in the featureopposite the previously castJake Gyllenhaal.
The plot details for the story remain tightly under wraps for now, but given that both Shyamalan and Sparks are masters in their respective crafts, nothing short of a masterpiece is expected, and their credible track record proves they likely won’t disappoint. It’s the first of its kind of project for Shyamalan, who has until now worked solo crafting his own stories. Known for personally financing his projects, this will yet again be the case for this latest project, which the filmmaker will produce under Blinding Edge Pictures along with Ashwin Rajan. Alongside Gyllenhaal and the heavyweight creative team behind the scenes, the project already looks a winner on paper, and it’s difficult to see how this dream team could possibly create a total flop. Dynevor has already proven how well she can handle a blend of romance and thriller with the 2023 thriller,Fair Play,in which she starred oppositeAlden Ehrenreich. The film earned an impeccable A rating from Collider’sTheresa Lacson, whopraised Dynevor’s performance, writing that she “stretches her talent to the full extent.” Dyneovor next dazzled inInheritance(2025), where she played a young woman implicated in an international conspiracy after discovering that her father is a spy.
