The new network TV season is upon us! While advanced buzz for this fall’s crop of new shows hasn’t exactly been ecstatic, there are a number of returning series that look to capitalize on last year’s success, especially at Fox. The network has unveiled a number of behind-the-scenes photos from the upcoming seasons of breakout shows likeEmpireand the comedyThe Last Man on Earth, as well as theBatmanorigin seriesGotham(read Dave’s review of Season 2here). There’s alsoBrooklyn Nine-Nine, which is entering its third season with a guest appearance byBill Haderin the Season 3 premiere.
And Fox has also unveiled behind-the-scenes shots from some of its new series, likeScream Queens, a horror-comedy anthology series fromGleeandAmerican Horror StorycreatorRyan Murphy. The show takes place at a sorority house on a college campus where recent events reignite a 20-year-old murder mystery. It sounds like a twist on theAmerican Horror Storyformula with a comedic bent, withEmma Roberts,Lea Michele, andJamie Lee Curtisleading the cast.

There’s also the new medical proceduralRosewoodstarringMorris Chestnut, which revolves around a private pathologist living in Miami. And of course, in keeping with television’s new trend of mining films and older series for reboots, Fox hasMinority Reporton tap for the fall schedule, based on theSteven Spielbergsci-fi thriller of the same name.Stark Sandsplays precog Dash who teams up with a police detective played byMeagan Goodto try and stop the murders that he predicts.
