Well, the time has finally come. There’s officially only one episode ofGame of Thronesleft, ever. Following last night’s divisive penultimate episode of the series, HBO released a shortGame of Thronesseries finale trailer to offer a preview of what’s ahead. It isbriefand hinges mostly on imagery—you won’t get any dialogue snippets just yet. But that imagery is striking enough to drive home what we can reasonably assume the series finale will be about: usurping yet another tyrannical ruler.

Indeed, in the penultimate episode of the series—titled “The Bells”—Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) went full “Mad Queen” and laid waste to King’s Landing, after the city had already surrendered. She and her army of Dothraki and Unsullied soldiers killed men, women, and children with impunity. And oh yeah, she and her dragon got in on the fun.

In this series finale trailer we see Daenarys taking her throne in a city covered in ash. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this series has been about an impending winter, and the imagery of the ash-covered King’s Landing looks as if it’s covered in snow. The White Walker army may be dead, but a dangerous threat still looms—one Jon Snow (Kit Harington) himself backed.

So will Jon be forced to kill Daenarys and takehisrightful place on the throne? Will Dany kill any additional Starks that stand in her way? Or will Jon just peace out and head back up North? Personally I’m looking forward to see what Sansa (Sophie Turner) has to do in the finale. She didn’t appear in “The Bells,” so surely that means she has some major development in the finale right?
