Georgie Cooper’s (Montana Jordan) life might be too intertwined with the McAllisters. Apart from being in-laws, he lives and works with them. It’s unclear why Georgie decides to leave the shop but seeing how proactive he’s been since Jim gave him a job, maybe Fred offers better pay. However, conflicts have been developing through Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 1 and this might be a consequence of these conflicts. In the episode preceding “Working for the Enemy,“Mary (Zoe Perry) and Audrey go to warover Georgie and Ceecee, which might have spilled over.
