The former must stop the latter from pulling off the heist of the century. Currently only streaming on AMC+, Vizio+ has confirmed thatDen of Thieveswill begin streaming on the platform next month, on August 1. The film earned a “Rotten” 42% from critics and a 63% from audiences on the Popcornmeter onRotten Tomatoes, and it also grossed $80 million at the box office against a $30 million budget, making it a moderate financial success.
Fans were waiting on pins and needles for the premiere ofDen of Thieves 2: Pantera, which finally hit theaters earlier this year after a seven-year wait. Coming out of the gate, it looked like the wait was worth it, too — the film debuted with strong scores onRotten Tomatoesthat came to rest at 63% and 79% from critics and audiences, respectively, both of which are better than the original. However, despite upping the budget by $10 million,Den of Thieves 2: Panteragrossed $22 million less than the original andfinished its run with $58 million globally.
