The latest two-episode crossover event betweenArrowandThe Flashset up the events to come inLegends of Tomorrow. Vandal Savage, an immortal and tyrannical villain, is using time travel to destroy the world. Hunter recruits an assemblage of extraordinary talent to combat this global threat.
While we’ve seen footage of Amell and Gustin in this latest spinoff series, the story focuses on these characters fromBrandon Routh,Wentworth Miller,Dominic Purcell,Victor Garber,Franz Drameh,Caity Lotz,Falk Hentschel,Ciara Renee, andArthur Darvill. What’s exciting aboutLegends of Tomorroware the familiar names behind the spinoff who madeArrowandThe Flashgreat. Then you factor inJoe Dante,who directed an episodetitled “Night of the Hawk.” All signs are pointing to this being another slam dunk for DC on TV, though it’s super easy to get ahead of oneself amid all this hype.
