The summer sun is almost setting, which means new seasons of daytime talk shows are officially upon us! ThoughLive With Kelly and Markhas brought some new content, live episodes will not return until September. In just a few weeks, the husband-and-wife team ofMark ConsuelosandKelly Ripawill beback for completely live tapings in their new downtown New York studio.
This summer,Live With Kelly and Markbrought weekday viewers a mix of pre-taped episodes, with several that featured new host chats but old interviews and performances.According to DECIDER, who attended a taping earlier this summer, a production source revealed,“theLivefamily is currently on a summer break, which takes place every year.”
Earlier this summer, both Kelly and Mark took a week off, during whichtheir spouse was joined by a new guest co-host each day. Those guests includedCarson Kressley, David Muir, andJerry O’Connellfor Kelly, while Mark was joined by the likes ofJackie Tohn,Rita Ora, andJenna Dewan.
New Daytime Talk Show Tapings Begin in September
Many of the hit daytime and late-night talk shows provide free tickets through the company, includingThe View. While they too have yet to make an official network announcement,1iota revealed on their Instagramthat tickets are now available for Season 29, with live tapings beginning September 8th.
The current iteration ofLivebegan when Mark, a steadfast guest co-host over the years, was brought in to replace former co-hostRyan Seacrest. Kelly has been on the morning show since 2001, when she replacedKathie Lee Gifford. Her official co-hosts includedRegis Philbin,Michael Strahan, and Seacrest. With no signs of stopping,the on- and off-camera couple will continue to heat up daytime this fall with fresh, new content.
