They must work together to escape before the dangerous 24th personality rears its ugly head.Splitis streaming on HBO Max in the United States, but globally, it’s one of the most popular VOD purchases in countries like Honduras. The film earned a “Certified Fresh” 79% from critics onRotten Tomatoesand 79% on the audience-driven Popcornmeter. It also grossed an incredible $278 million globally against a $9 million budget, making it one of the biggest financial hits of all time.

Before Shyamalan teamed up with Josh Hartnett forTrap, he recruited former WWE starDave Bautistato star inKnock at the Cabin, the 2023 R-rated psychological thriller following a girl and her parents who are taken hostage by strangers who demand the family make a sacrifice to avoid the apocalypse. The film is not currently streaming anywhere at the time of writing. Shyamalan also teamed up withGael Garciá BernalandAlex WolffforOld, the 2021 conspiracy thriller following a family relaxing on a beach who discover that they’re aging so rapidly their lives have been reduced to a day. The film was panned by critics and audiences, earning a 50% from the former and 53% from the latter onRotten Tomatoes. It’s currently streaming on Peacock.

When Does M. Night Shyamalan’s Next Movie Come Out?

M. Night Shyamalan’s next movie has been set for release on June 11, 2025. TitledRemain, the romantic thriller starsJake GyllenhaalandPhoebe Dynevor.Tracey Ifeachor, who stars inThe PittSeason 1 butwill not return for Season 2, has also been set for a role inRemain. The film is based on an upcoming novel,Remain: A Supernatural Love Story, which is a collaboration between Shyamalan andNicholas Sparks. It will release this October, around a year before the film hits theaters.Remainis currently in production and is expected to film for several months.
