Disney has officially unveiled the title for their upcomingAvengersspinoff series featuringElizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch andPaul Bettany’s Vision, and it’s…WandaVision? Yep, just checked the calendar and it’s not April 1st, so it’s definitely officially titledWandaVision.

The series, which recently recruitedCaptain MarvelscreenwriterJac Schaefferas showrunner, was rumored to be called “Vision and Scarlet Witch,” but Disney has apparently decided to take another approach with…WandaVision? Sorry, that’s just going to take some getting used to. Marvel will be using the team-up title approach with another of theirDisney+series confirmed today;Falcon and Winter Soldier, which will starAnthony MackieandSebastian Stanas their MCU superheroes and Captain America bros.

Elsewhere in Marvel,Disneyalsopreviously confirmedLoki, another spinoff series starringTom Hiddlestonas his beloved sometimes villain/sometimes anti-hero, who didn’t fare so well at the hands of Thanos inAvengers: Infinity War. That series recently recruitedRick and MortywriterMichael Waldronas showrunner. Earlier this week, reports broke that Disney+ will also pursue aHawkeyeseries starringJeremy Renner, though that has yet to be confirmed.

The news comes out of Disney’s ongoing presentation for their new streaming service Disney+, where Chairman and CEORobert A. Igeris unveiling a slew of long-awaited details for the anticipated launch. The streaming service is positioned to be a major competitor for streaming giants like Netflix and Amazon, and the studio is definitely putting every single one of their best feet forward in today’s announcement event, which includes confirmations of titles available at launch (includingCaptain Marveland the entire Signature Collection,) the first look at the layout, and much much more.
