The timing of the trailer drop indicates that the film had been in production well before it was technically legal to do so (with the intent to release it) due to copyright restrictions. Simon Phillips, who also wrote the screenplay for the film, will star as the masked killer Mickey Mouse. Phillips is a British actor who is best known for his performance in the television seriesAge of the Living Dead, as well as appearances inFUBARand the third season ofThe Witcher.
