According to a report from Deadline,Johnny Deppis joining the cast of the sequel toFantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.David Yateswill direct the follow up with production already set for early next year. No details have been revealed about Depp’s role, however, the outlet does reveal that if you look carefully, you might be able to spot him as a cameo in the first installment opening on November 18.

Soon afterPaul Feig’sreboot ofGhostbustershit theaters, an executive at Sony Pictures claimed a sequel to the movie would happen. All that changed after the theatrical release, where the box office numbers were not as high as Sony had hoped for. The movie ended up making just over $229 million at the box office, and while a call for aGhostbusterssequel hasn’t been made, Paul Feig is still hoping it will happen. Speaking with The Daily Beast about a possible follow up, Feig said that he wants to do one but it is up to the studio and he hasn’t been contacted about it just yet.
