James Gunntook his huge production ofGuardians of the Galaxy Vol 2to Comic Con 2016 and in doing so, revealed thatKurt Russellwas Star Lord’s father. Now,Russell is opening up a bit about the movieand the story he’s calling grounded and complex. Speaking with Collider’s Steve Weintraub at TIFF 2016, Russell said he wasimpressed with the stuff he saw at Comic-Con, but they didn’t show everything.
A new trailer has been released forEuropa Corp’s new political thriller,Miss Sloane, starringJessica Chastain. The movie is directed byShakespeare in Love’sJohn Maddenwith Chastain playing a resolute and unrelenting D.C. lobbyist who puts her career, and possibly her life, at risk when she decides to head up a gun control campaign. The film is set to open in theaters on December 9.
