Pine stars alongsideJustice Smith(Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) andMichelle Rodriguez(Fast & Furious) inDungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, the 2023 fantasy film following a charming thief and his band of adventurers who embark on a quest to retrieve a lost relic.Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thievesis currently streaming on Netflix, but the streamer has confirmed thatthe last day to watch the film will be August 25. It earned strong scores of 91% from critics and 91% from audiences onRotten Tomatoes, but it grossed only $203 million against a $150 million budget.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thievesis based on the popular tabletop strategy game that’s been around for years and is even featured inStranger Things.Jonathan Goldstein,John Francis Daley,Michael Gilio, andChris McKayall wrote the script for the film, with Daley and Goldstein stepping behind the camera to direct. Goldstein is also known for his work as a writer onThe Flash, the 2023 superhero movie that flopped at the box office, and he even wrote the screenplay forSpider-Man: Homecoming, the first solo adventure forTom Holland’s Peter Parker. For Pine,Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thievescame just one year after he starred oppositeFlorence PughandHarry StylesinDon’t Worry Darling, and three years after he played Steve Trevor for the final time inWonder Woman 1984.

When Does Chris Pine’s Next Movie Come Out?

Chris Pine has a few movies in development and some that have even wrapped production, but none have been assigned official release dates. One of the most intriguing movies on the slate isAlpha Gang, the upcoming alien invasion film following a group of aliens who come to Earth and disguise themselves as a 1950s biker gang. The film also starsCate Blanchett,Léa Seydoux,Dave Bautista, andChanning Tatum.Alpha Gangis expected to arrive on Netflix sometime next year, even though the streamer has not yet announced exactly when.
