Despitecast members giving updates on what they’d like to see in a second season, Netflix has stayed eerily quiet on theRansom Canyonrenewal front. The show, which has been dubbed as Netflix’s version ofYellowstone, is a romance-fueled family drama following three intersecting ranching families. It’s set against the sweeping tundras and beautiful landscapes of Texas Hill Country.

Duhamel is also known for his role as Lennox inMichael Bay’sTransformersfranchise, where he appeared in four movies between 2007 and 2017.Minka Kellystars alongside Duhamel as Quinn O’Grady, and she’s best known for her roles inJust Go with It(Adam Sandler) and500 Days of Summer(Joseph Gordon-Levitt).Eoin Mackencan also be seen as David Collins in Netflix’s hit Western series, and he most recently starred inLa BreaandBorderline.James Brolin, father of legendary Thanos actorJosh Brolin, also stars inRansom Canyonas Cap Fuller.Lizzy Greene,Garrett Wareing,Marianly Tejada, andJack Schumacheralso feature inRansom Canyon. The show was written and created for television byApril Blair, and it’s based on the popular novel byJodi Thomas.
What’s Streaming on Netflix Right Now?
Ransom Canyon has been replaced in the Netflix top 10 by other series likeSecrets We Keep, which debuted with a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, general audiences are not as high on the series. The latest season inTim Miller’s anthology series,Love, Death & Robots, also hit Netflix last week, and while it did manage to make it into the top 10, it couldn’t ride its perfect Rotten Tomatoes score higher than the #7 spot.Judy Blume’s new show,Forever, andTina Fey’s comedy series,The Four Seasons, are also in the Netflix top 10.
