Paramount Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming comedyOffice Christmas Party. Directed byJosh GordonandWill Speck, the filmmakers behindThe SwitchandBlades of Glory, the ensemble comedy revolves around a titular office Christmas party thrown to potentially salvage their branch after the CEO threatens to shut them down. Their only way to remain open is to woo a potential client with the be-all, end-all party of the century. The film has a script byJustin Malen(Trophy Wife),Laura Solon(Hot in Cleveland), andDan Mazer(Borat), but it’s really a performance showcase for its talented comedic ensemble.

This new trailer is another tease of a various shenanigans that ensue at the titular party, and many of them involve violent or dangerous stunts. There’s certainly a place for party movies, and just last yearThe Night Beforeoffered a refreshing twist on the Christmas movie genre, so it’ll be interesting to see ifOffice Christmas Partybrings something worthwhile to the table.
