Netflix’s TUDUM happened over the weekend, and it meant that there were fans of the streamer’sOne Piecelive-action adaptation, eagerly awaiting news about the show’s sophomore season. Ahead of the event, fans were already fired up when a video suggested thatsomething big was coming to Season 2.The new live-action take on Tony Tony Chopper ahead of Season 2’s premiere was the big reveal at TUDUM, and now creatorEiichiro Odahas offered his take on the streamer’s design for the reindeer doctor.
Tony Tony Chopper is the nextfan-favorite Straw Hatto join Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his crew when they arrive Drum Island in Season 2. Netflix has debuted a new look atOne Piecethat finally revealed how Chopper will look like in live-action. Chopper will be voiced by frequentJames Gunncollaborator,Mikaela Hoover, who has experience in voice acting and motion capture, as she was the one who played Rocket Raccoon’s (Bradley Cooper) friend Floor inGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The reveal has had some fans split on the design but Oda has since offered his stamp of approval. The creator’s message to the fans reads:

“The key to Season 2 is, of course, our weird talking animal. After extensive trial and refinement by the entire team, the day has come to finally unveil him!! From his form and furs to his expressions and face, and even lighting and gravity simulation – a world – class team brought their skills together in bringing Tony Tony Chopper to life, and now he’s ready to be introduced to the world!!
