Boardwalk EmpireactorJack Hustonfills the title role of Judah Ben-Hur, a prince who is falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother Messala (Toby Kebbell) and is subsequently stripped of his title and ostracized....

For many years, the beauty and film industries have played a significant role in creating stereotypes of what an attractive or acceptable body type should entail. Body positivity was never a topic that was commonly addressed on public platforms. Both men and women were (and are) targets of body-shaming if they don’t look “healthy” or possess the “ideal body” type. But times are changing as the industry slowly addresses body positivity in its narratives....

From legendary actors and rising stars to visionary directors, individuals have left their mark on the world in one way or another before their passing. TheGoldenArmtrailer is here to reveal a female-led, buddy road-trip, arm-wrestling delight that is, hands down (pun highly intended), one of the most exciting original concepts for a comedy. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the story of Melanie (Mary Holland), a peaceful baker who’s convinced by her truck-driving friend, Danny (Betsy Sodaro), to travel through the United States while fighting for the title of champion in arm wrestling. It’s absurd to think a single movie can stick together so many great excuses for a comedy movie, but directorMaureen Bharoochatook matters in her own hand to deliver us this treat (two puns in a row, sorry not sorry)....

The 30th anniversary ofGoodfellasis upon us, so it’s fitting thatMade Men,Glenn Kenny’s new book about the making ofMartin Scorsese’s crime classic, was just published this week. I readMade Mencover-to-cover in two days and then read it again for this piece, and what I loved was the structure, and how Chapter 4 (of 10) is roughly 47 percent of the book. Kenny is a notable film critic, and though we’ve butted heads on social media numerous times, there’s no question that I respect him as both a writer and a thinker....

HBO Max continues to roll out its app on additional providers, as the streaming service announced today that it’s now available on Xfinity X1 and Flex –much to the chagrin of Roku users. Indeed, HBO Max continues to be in negotiations with Roku to cut a financial deal that would allow the app on Roku, but they’re making progress and in the last month struck a deal to make HBO Max available on Amazon Fire....
