This is not your typical season ofAmerican Horror Story. By this point, the fans usually know what the subtitle for the next run will be and are analyzing a series of promos and teaser images to figure out what might befall the characters next in theRyan Murphyanthology. Instead, FX has been keeping things a mystery, a move that’s becoming increasingly frustrating with each new teaser. The latest, released today, is a play on the classic horror filmCreature From the Black Lagoonand Murphy’s other horror series,Scream Queens: an amphibian monster is shown pulling a woman shouting about her sorority into the water before cliche harp music plays to emphasis the love forming between monster and victim....

Judd Apatow’s mark on the comedy landscape cannot be overstated. With 2005’sThe 40-Year-Old Virginhe ushered in an entirely new style of comedy. One marked by improvisation, long takes, and lacking in huge recognizable stars. This “grounded” approach was immediately embraced by audiences and kicked off a slew of imitators, all while Apatow produced and helped shepherd the individual voices and careers of folks likeSeth Rogen,Jason Segel, andKristen Wiig, among many others....

You know his name. He’s T’Challa, Black Panther, King of Wakanda … he also goes byChadwick Boseman. Though the versatile actor made his introduction in this particular role in Marvel’sCaptain America: Civil War, he’ll get to come into his own as the title character inBlack Panther. That fact plays to Boseman’s advantage since he won’t have to carry both an origin story and an ascension story as T’Challa attempts to defend Wakanda from internal and external threats, but a large part of the film’s success does lay on his shoulders....

Warner Bros. giveth, and Warner Bros. taketh away. Just weeks after finally releasing The Snyder Cut, WB revealed that two anticipated DCEU films fromAva DuVernayandJames Wanwill no longer be moving forward. The studio and DC said in a statement, “As part of our DC slate, some legacy development titles includingNew GodsandThe Trenchwill not be moving forward.
