Right on the heels ofSouth Park’s new season getting rescheduled, another animated comedy is being dealt the same treatment. Deadline reports thatComedy Centralhas shifted the original premiere date ofAndy Samberg’sDigman!Season 2. Two years after its renewal, the adult show was meant to return in just a few days, on July 9, but fans will unfortunately have to wait two weeks longer for their favorite adventurers’ return.

The sophomore season ofDigman!is now set to premiere on July 23, similar toSouth Park, with new episodes airing on Wednesdays at 10:30 PM. Announcing the new date,Comedy Central releasednew key art featuring Samberg’s character, Rip Digman, alongside fellow beloved characters. The sitcom was created byThe Lonely Islandstar along withBrooklyn Nine-Nine’sNeil Campbell, both of whom also serve as executive producers. Titmouse will executive produce Season 2 with their ownChris Prynoski,Shannon Prynoski,Antonio Canobbio, andBen Kalina. Furthermore,CBS Studiosproduces withAli Belland The Lonely Island’s Party Over Here banner.

Set in a world where archaeologists are huge celebrities and the coolest people on the planet,Digman!returns with even more thrilling adventures for Rip, who, with Saltine in the first episode of Season 2, takes the Antichrist on a worldwide journey through Rip and Bella’s past in an attempt toexorcise the demonfrom Bella’s body.
