Ryan Edwardscontinues to go through a messy divorcewithMackenzie Standifer. The two, who were known for their work onTeen Mom: The Next Chapter, have been going back and forth with Edwards and his family now claiming thatStandifer is delaying the divorce. The news came as Edwards got engaged to his new girlfriend,Amanda Conner. The two are expecting a baby together. Indocuments obtained byThe Sun, it was revealed thatEdwards is putting in the work to move their divorce forwardand it is Standifer who is making it difficult. Standifer claims the opposite.
Edwards is requesting a judgehelp their case.He filed a Motion to Continue on November 20 that claimed that Standifer had not filed the proper paperwork yet to move their divorce forward. The document states “[Ryan] propounded to [Mackenzie] certain interrogatories and requests for production on June 19, 2025. The court ordered [Ryan] to respond by June 21, 2025. [Ryan] filed a Motion to Compel which is currently pending to be heard on June 29, 2025. Due to [Mackenzie’s] failure to provide discovery answers, [Ryan] is unable to complete the requested documents in this case."
Ryan and Mackenzie’s Divorce Has Been Less Than Easy
However,Standifer told the publication otherwise. Talking toThe U.S. Sun, she claimed that Edwards continued to push their divorce back. “Ryan Edwards has requested that our hearing for divorce be pushed back four separate times," she said. “He has a child on the way, and is reportedly engaged to Amanda. I wish he would be more willing to close this chapter between us and focus on what lies ahead for himself.”
Through their divorce,Standifer has accusedEdwards ofhiding a child from the public.She also accused his parents of helping, and she also was the one to reveal that Conner was pregnant before the couple did. This back and forth is par for the course with their divoce as a whole. Standifer had until December 2 to file the paperwork that Edwards was requesting. There has yet to be an update on whether their divorce is now moving forward as Edwards and Standifer both seemingly want it to. The two share children; sonJaggerand daughterStella.
