Nothing about Season 18 ofMarried at First SightonLifetimehas been smooth sailing. Between mismatched pairings, gaslighting, and now a cheating scandal, it is hard to believe that any couples on thisreality showwill make it in the long run except one.Camille ParsonsandThomas McDonaldare the most compatible couple onMarried At First SightSeason 18. As decision day approaches fast, I thinkCamille and Thomas will be the only couple to succeed onMarried at First Sight.
Married at First SightSeason 18 has been mostly unsuccessful, with most relationships crashing and burning quickly. I have not enjoyed this season as much as earlier ones becausethe romance was mostly missing. However,Camille and Thomas reminded me of how great it is whenMarried at First Sightproduces a successful relationship. Although other cast members have stood out to me, likeAllen Slovick, Camille and Thomas are the only pair I can see that fit. Of course, Camille and Thomas have issues, as any marriage would, but it is clear to me that they are both invested in and care for one another.

Camille and Thomas Are Physically and Emotionally Intimate
One of the most essential aspects of a romantic relationship is emotional and physical intimacy, and Camille and Thomas have both. Camille and Thomas hit it off quickly and have maintained a healthy respect for one another.Camille and Thomas are the first couple to be physically intimate.Other couples have started to be physical, but each pair has encountered problems with it, likeIkechi OjoreandEmem Obot, whose relationship was stopped short by Ikechi’s insecurities and gaslighting. Not only that, butthey were very excited to tell the rest of the cast about it. I smiled along with them when they revealed it. Camille and Thomas have also opened up to each other emotionally, with Thomas letting Camille know the whole story about his adoption and birth mother and Camille bringing Thomas back to her childhood home. Camille and Thomas keep proving to me throughoutthe experimentthat they are a good fit.
Are the ‘Married at First Sight’ Experts Even Trying Anymore?
The past few seasons have been filled with mismatched unions and absentee experts.
Camille and Thomas Are Growing Together on ‘Married at First Sight’
It wouldn’t beMarried at First Sightif there were not some problems to overcome, but compared tothe hot mess that is the rest of the cast, Camille and Thomas can work on their issues. The main problems stem from Camille’s expectations. From the start, she wanted someone with more of a “swag factor” and someone with similar life experiences. As time passed and Camille and Thomas got to know each other, it became clear to me that although their lives were different, they had similar experiences. The pair have been working past these problems slowly but more efficiently than any of the other couples.Camille’s expectation of Thomas to dress and look how she wants is the only other problem the couple has.
As I watch the other couples fight and yell overmanipulation, lies, and lost jobs, Thomas and Camille’s problem is superficial and easy to work through.Camille and Thomas have both grown, with Camille letting herself have a more open mind and Thomas trying to make Camille comfortable. Their growth stands out because they are the only couple doing that. Other pairings likeDavid TrimbleandMichelle Tomblinhave had similar opportunities for openness and growth but shut it down. Camille and Thomas have had some issues, mainly because Camille has had difficulty letting go of aesthetic expectations; however, compared to the rest of the couples, Thomas and Camille have it easy. I know thatThomas and Camille can work through the few issues that they have to strengthen their marriage.

Now that the experiment is coming to a close,Thomas and Camille stand out as the couple most likely to stay together onMarried at First SightSeason 18and the only couple I am ultimately rooting for. This season ofMarried at First Sighthas been full of drama, more than I wanted or expected, which makes Camille and Thomas a refreshing couple to watch. The experts got Camille Parsons and Thomas McDonald right.I will watch on decision day as Camille and Thomas hopefully choose to stay together.Married at First Sightairs weekly on Lifetime and is available anytime on Hulu.
