In her post on social media, Lydia shared a beautiful video montage of the couple with accompanying commentary. “Our beginning was truly magical, it was a love story that you read in books, and it felt like a fantasy, a fairytale. As I write this, people aren’t aware that I asked to go our separate ways, not because I don’t love you but because our love story has come to an end,” she wrote.“I never ever wished this ending; or any ending to be honest.I wish I knew the answer to what happened? What made you change? Truly, so I could go back and fix it. When you read these words you are probably going to be angry at me. You always were when I ‘overshared’, but this is part of my healing, and gathering back the pieces you broke. No one will ever know the amount of pain as I write this, or all the sleepless nights.” It appears that he had weaponized her vulnerability, something that some fans witnessed early on.
The latter part of her announcement aligned with her discussion on the podcast in which she said, “At the beginning, everything was beautiful. Everything was perfect. It was a fairy tale, and he showed me the kind of love that I’ve never received before. He loved me for who I was.” She then alleged thatthey argued over her desire for him to stop speaking to an ex, which he refused to do, and attempted to pin the blame on her, asking why she would “even entertain” the rumors.
