The rumor mill about the girl from Krypton and her future on Network TV is at an all time high.Super Girljust wrapped its freshman season on CBS and although 13 million viewers tuned in for the heavily marketed premiere, about half that many tuned into the finale. Last week, The Wrap reported that CBS’ head honcho Les Moonves is in talks with Warner Brothers TV about the future of the show and its 3 million dollar per episode license fee… AND that’s whenthe move to The CW rumor caught fire, which seems to be all speculation, with multiple outlets picking up the story. So it would appear CW could be home for a Season 2 ofSupergirlentering the DC Universe along withThe FlashandArrow.

Seth Macfarlane, best known as the creator ofFamily Guyand the voice behind theTedfranchise,got a 13 episode straight to series orderat 20th Century Fox TV for an hour long sci-fi dramedy. This will be MacFarlane’s first starring role in a live action series for TV, where he’s best known for his voice work and animated prowess. The yet to be named project will be set 300 years in the future with a rag tag crew of space explorers on a ship best described as ‘pre-owned.’ When asked  about the series,MacFarlane said, “I’ve wanted to do something like this show ever since I was a kid, and the timing finally feels right.”

Ryan Murphy, the TV producer behindAmerican Horror Story,The People Vs. OJ SimpsonandScream Queens, announced this week that he will bebringing another anthology series to life withFeud.The series will starJessica LangeandSusan Sarandonas Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, respectively, and will investigate the story behind their toxic rift during the filming of the 1962 movie,What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?.Murphy will executive produce alongsideBrad PittandDede Gardneras well as direct multiple episodes, ofwhich got a full 8 episode order at FX.

In renewal news, Hulu has picked up their original showThe Pathfor a second season andThe Mindy Projectwhich they picked up when it was cancelled at FOX, for a 5th season. Both series are available only on the streaming site and unlike Netflix or Amazon, releases the shows on a more traditional weekly basis.

SUPERHERO RUNDOWN

The first set photos ofFinn Jonesas Danny Rand in the upcoming Netflix seriesIron Fistwere released to the public last week. It shows Danny in martial arts poses, homeless chic attire and some candid moments with actressJessica Stroupwho plays Joy Meachum.

According to The Hollywood Reporter,Agent Cartergetting a third season is highly unlikelyandMarvel’s Most Wanted, the spin-off fromAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.following the exit of Bobbi and Lance, has also been cooling behind the scenes and isn’t guaranteed a season order.
