In the trailer, London explains that she and Kelly are “making over the makeover show.” People will come to London and Kelly onWear Whatever the F You Want, and they will help them achieve their dream style, no matter how much of a departure it is from their current style. “There Are No More Norms” in ‘Wear Whatever the F You Want’
When the announcement forWear Whatever the F You Wantcame last fall, they explained in a statement, “The world has changed a lot since the run ofWhat Not to Wear, and, thankfully, so have we.” They say, “These days, we have zero interest in telling people what to do, based on society’s norms— because there are no more norms!”
“Style is still an important form of communication, and we’re excited to show new clients how to align their personal messaging with their life goals. It’s time to celebrate individual style, not prescribe it.”

The originalWhat Not To Wearaired for twelve seasons, running from 2003 to 2013. While some parts of the series haven’t necessarily aged well, namely things having to do with taking the choice of what is ‘good fashion’ out of the hands of the person they’re making over and into their own, the goal was always to create the most confident version of the person that was coming onto the show. WithWear Whatever The F You Want, the power is back in the hands of the people that are receiving the “makeover"if you could even call it that. From the trailer, it seems to be more about becoming your best self, with the subjects steering more of the style London and Kelly curate.
