Hugh Jackmanis gearing up for his last go as Logan in 20th Century Fox’s upcomingWolverine 3, and while details on the sequel are scarce at the moment, we now know who will be squaring off against Jackman as the film’s big bad.NarcosstarBoyd Holbrookhas signed on to play the film’s main villain, an as yet nameless characterDeadlinedescribes as “a relentless, calculating and intense head of Security for a global enterprise who is set against Jackman’s clawed Wolverine/Logan hero.”
The studio hasn’t yet revealed any story details forWolverine 3, though we do knowPatrick Stewartwill reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier. Jackman has teased Old Man Logan a few times now, including at Comic-Con, and apparently to Sabretooth actorLiev Schrieber, who said he"talked" about the possibility of a returnwith Jackman. DirectorJames Mangold,who helmed the previous installment in the Wolverine films, 2013’sThe Wolverine, has worked closely with Jackman for the star’s final go in the claws, withDavid James Kelleypenning the script. Jackman has emphasized time and time again their dedication to getting the script just right, but told us back in January that they were very nearly finished. Which is good, considering the film is reportedly set to role into production next month!

As for Holbook, the actor previously delivered notable performances inDavid Fincher’sGone Girland the actionerRun All Night, but really brokeout after the success of his Netflix seriesNarcos, in which he plays a CIA agent ivestigating Pablo Escobar in 1970 Colombia.
Wolverine 3is scheduled to arrive in theaters March 3rd, 2017.
