WhileGal Gadotplayed Wonder Woman in the DCEU over the course of six films, including two solo adventures,the DCU will feature a new actress taking on this iconic Justice League member.As of now, a prequel series featuring Wonder Woman’s home island of Themyscira,Paradise Lost, and a solo film are planned for the new shared-universe. There have been hints of Wonder Woman inCreature CommandosSeason 1, but we haven’t seen the hero in all her glory yet, or know who’s playing her. That said,SupergirlscreenwriterAna Nogueirais penning theWonder Womanscriptfor DC Studios and Warner Bros.
In the time since the DCEU ended withAquaman and the Lost Kingdomin 2023, McFarlane Toys has been filling the DC void with new comic andmovie figures for Wonder Woman. We last saw the character of Wonder Woman on the big screen with her cameo inThe Flash, so it’ll be exciting to see where Gunn’s DCU takes the new version of the hero.
